Howdy,

I used to play way back religiously in the day and used to have interest in joining i9 (I was a baby way back then.) Recently through nostalgia I came back across the days when I played when iog, jcp, ovk, i9, gL were all teams and this game was going strong. What's it like now, worth returning to?

P.S. I used to be on team vigilante with sani and wh!z, they still around?

Does xfire still exist? Do people find scrims on IRC? What happened to aaotracker?

Welcome.

AAPG is currently on a downward slope. IE AA 2.8.5. Not many people from old aa comp play. Myself(used to be krux), xtr, unk and liquid are all returners. The vast majority are all from this AAPG era of the game in the comp scene and they suck to be honest.

IRC no go, tracker is now battletracker.com, xfire exist but since aapg is on steam no need for xfire.

Last time I talked to whiz and sani was months ago but they were doing the college thing.  Then whiz was playing guild wars 2 and sani wasn't really game much at all.

Well this is all very disheartening! I was building a gaming rig and really wanted to come back to the game and relive my old competitive times, maybe I'll just download it anyways and give it a go. You guys consider opening up a OW team?

Ahh, I was going to buy it but $60 wasn't really worth it to me at the time.  Although, I have read the game has got really big and I would be down to support a OW team.

Well when I finally get my rig built up I'd love to try out some AA (and probably have a piece of me destroyed seeing the state you guys say it's in) and we can go from there on Xbox I'm just about top 500 and wanted to make a team when I got to pc. $60 bucks is steep but I promise you the games worth it, all new characters, maps and game modes are free too so there's no paid dlc bs
