Hey dudes
« on: June 13, 2016, 03:15:08 PM »
Hey guys,

I used to play aa about 10 years ago in the good old days. In fact, I used to be on i9, back when megalo, redhat, abs and others I'm having a hard time remembering were on here. Is that Subzero? were you on a team called Hyper Intensity back in the  day? Anyway, was wondering if the new aa is worth anything. I'm glad to see some familiar names on here still!

Hey,  your name doesn't ring a bell.  What was your in game name?

Well for being a free game, it's not as good as it could be but since it's Americas Army we still play it.  If the Dev's would focus on comp play,  it would be bigger but it's a very small market game.

i9.Bubba -- back when I was on i9. I do recognize karnifex and zero if that's the same zero. AA was always somewhat small market, no? I remember we used to always complain how much it sucked, yet continued to play it haha. I do miss it.

Karni plays for time to time, abs is Mia, and I see Haunter play rando games. Other than that,  everyone else is Mia and Unkonwn & I are the last old school i9 left.  We do have a couple players who played AA back in the day.

It's worth giving it a shot and see if it's your cup of tea but it's a small game atm.

It has changed in every way,  it is closer to AA3 than AA2 but 100x than AA3.  You could say, its a very low budget CoD without the bells and whistles.  You can take a look at some of the videos from the game and see what you would be getting into.

yeah ive been well. I actually just got back into pc gaming in august. took a long break and was playin xbox a lot. been living life tho. ive been married a divorced, no kids or anything.

idk if u remember deception from hi. He was my RL friend Cameron. Helped Joe a lot with graphic design on our website. He actually passed away about 4 years ago from drugs.

I've enjoyed coming back tho and running into some old players from back in the day.  There are about 15 of us around that I can think of from aa2 that played comp.

ah shit man I'm sorry to hear that about Cameron. I always liked him. I had my struggles with that as well, but been clean and sober 4 years and working in drug/alcohol counseling now. I'd definitely like to start playing a bit again, but I don't even have a pc anymore I just play ps4 when I do play games. I'll pm you with fb info we should stay in touch.
