Fun fact: One reason they're so thin is because they have limited CPU cooling devices. In order to compensate for this, when the CPU starts becoming to hot, it'll dynamically lower your CPU clock speed so it doesn't overheat. The first generation was pretty bad about slowing the CPU down, but I assume they have more efficient methods for the newer ones.
